I believe in signs. Synchronicity. Vibrations. Communicating through the veil.
This morning, I went out to the car and found this tiny, extremely tiny feather. Sitting on the handle on the driver’s door.
Immediately, I got goosebumps. It was a message. From my guides.
Tiny in that it represented new beginnings.
Despite its frailty and vulnerability of sitting on a narrow ledge where any whiff of wind could carry it away, it sat there, its spine against the metal, its edges curled up toward the sky. The universe.
And, with it being on the driver’s side handle of the car, that represented a journey. A new direction.
Last night, I had been contemplating my next writing project after I finished the current mystery/suspense/thriller project I’ve been working on all year. Though it was interrupted for two months while a brand-new idea—When the Walls Listen—exploded into my brain from nowhere in particular, demanding I write and publish it immediately, taking two months start to finish to accomplish.
Two other writer friends and I, on a Zoom call, were sharing what we were doing when I talked about what to do next. I commented I should do this historical, based-on-a-true-event story next, wondering if I should write it as a novel or a screenplay. Contemplating that maybe I should do both. When suddenly, one of them burst out, “YES, DO IT! You must write it next! I want to read it!”
And then this morning, this tiny feather appeared. Confirmation. Major goosebumps right now, having typed confirmation.
The goosebumps on my arms and spine are always a marker, an indicator I just received another message from the Universe, from my guides.
No doubt about my next project. The signs have never been wrong.
What signals do you receive?
